Height, width, & tennis...
(28 August 10)

The US Open Tennis Championships start on Monday and I'll be having some time there over the two weeks - rubbing shoulders with Andy Murray and John McEnroe. OK, maybe not but there is a cook-off this time to add to the serving excitement. Details on that within the programme this week. Also do New Yorkers really like to chat more than anyone else in the nation? The results of a surprising new survey! Plus Empire State controversy, lost & found, and the pricing problem that goes on and on...

As for the music... expect new tracks this week from Jon Allen, Cavo, Good Charlotte, Joe Cocker, Howls, and the return of Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark...

On air and streamed online Saturday at 6.10pm HK time (that's 6.10am NY time), and archived online immediately afterwards. Playlists and more archive details in the NC:NY Programme Info section!

Live on Morning Brew!

Every week I have a chat with Phil Whelan on Morning Brew just after 12 noon (HK time) on a Friday lunchtime on RTHK Radio 3 in Hong Kong. What's on? What do we talk about? Who knows - as it's all live, and it's all topical.

Thanks!

Particular thanks to Rob from www.soundbaker.com for creating and mixing the brilliant ripped up, cranked out version of the 'Star Spangled Banner' that I use at the start of the programme each week! Also to Sean from Gunslingers for website graphics and web guidance, plus to all of the guests I have interviewed for their time and trouble!
