Ballooning Over Central Park

One of the great attractions in New York for summer 2008 is on a helium balloon (similar to a hot-air balloon) that flies 300 feet above Central Park! Locals and visitors alike are lining up to be one of the four people in the basket each time it heads up into the sky. But how does it all work, and why does it have to be tethered to the ground? To get the answers, I spoke with the people behind the operation, and headed up, up and away. And as the best views are early in the morning, I set the alarm, and got to Central Park for 7.30am...
